Hi All-
God has kept us all safe and it's been a very successful missions trip. We've seen somewhere between 600 to 700 people for a variety of medical problems.
The latrine in Kaplobotwo was a success and was left in the hands of Bob Wright to complete the finishing touches. The people are taking the initiative and asking if they can have the left over material so that they can build a latrine for their village. It's so good to see them interested in building a latrine of their own.
We stopped by Redeemer House for over and hour and got to play with the kids. Kathy Vaughn sends her love to all of you and all of the children looked great. What a blessing it was to get a chance to meet all of the kids.
Pictures of the trip will be posted after we return to the US. We miss all of you and can't wait to get home.

We're Here in Uganda!
After a couple of minor delays we made in to Uganda about 10:30pm. As we were getting ready to leave Amsterdam we were told that the Greek airspace was closed and we would have to reroute through Turkish airspace, which required us to add enough fuel for the additional length. After that all went well with a very smooth flight for the most part.
What we've seen so far of Uganda is beautiful, especially the people who have been very friendly and helpful. We're in for a big day today. We're off to Jinja to see Cathy Vaughn at Redeemer House to pick up our meds and see all of the kids. We are very excited!
Before we do that we get to negotiate Kampala traffic. That should be like Toads Wild ride. Can't wait.
Everyone is doing well and sends there love to everyone back home. We all appreciate your prayers.
Got to go get ready for the bus.

New from PDX
We've made it as far as Portland with no major problems so far. Just a minor delay as we were coming into PDX the pilot announced that the airport was shutdown because of fog. Our prayers were answered and within about 10 minutes we were back on track. We're just waiting for our flight now.
Next update will hopefully be from Amsterdam.

Are you ready? Here's some inspiration.
Give justice to "the weak and the Fatherless;
maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked."

BioSand Filter
Pray that we can find the time and materials to build a couple of BioSand filters while we are in Kaplobotwo. They are in need of both latrines and a source of clean drinking water. It is our mission to see that these needs are met.
